Inventory control in retailers of essential goods in Peru: effects on profitability

The chapter aimed to explore the relationship between inventory management and profitability among food retailers in Peru. A quantitative, non-experimental, applied, correlational approach was used, with a survey conducted among 500 food retailers in Peru. Eliminating inventory control with profitability achieved a Rho= 0.558, thus evidencing a positive relationship, so much so that they are statistically significant since the significance level was less than 0.05, which allowed the proposed hypothesis to be accepted.
